We are happy to introduce you all to Ella, Thomas, and Elizabeth from Kennedy High School! These three have been Buddies for a few months now and would like to share some insights about their amazing friendship:

“I became involved with Best Buddies Freshman year because my older brother had previously been involved with it throughout his years in high school. I knew how much he enjoyed participating in Best Buddies and wanted to experience that as well. My favorite thing to do with my buddy is zoom call and email updates about how our days are. My buddy and I have been paired since October of 2020. We also enjoy talking about our favorite movies, seasonal activities, and foods!” – Ella Hoeger, 11th grade

“My favorite thing about Best Buddies is meeting new friends. That is also why I joined Best Buddies. I have been matched with Ella and Elizabeth for a few months and I really like Zoom calling with them.” – Thomas Rorholm, 10th grade

“I became involved with best buddies through hearing from some of my friends in school about how fun it is and how it has helped them build more connections with people. My favorite thing to do with my buddies is to do zoom calls and just hear about what they have been up to. I also love to watch movies through the calls. Due to Covid 19, we have made sure to take special precautions for Thomas. We have been paired for 3 months.” – Elizabeth Adamson, 11th grade.
