This week in 80’s history!

Let’s peak in the way back machine and see what this week looked like in the 80’s! It was on this week in:

1983 – Huey Lewis and the News Released Sports, the album would be certified platinum 7x much thanks to the mega hit “The Heart of Rock n Roll”.

1984 – The 80’s classic Miami Vice Premiered on NBC. The show would make Don Johnson the highest paid tv actor after Johnson would threaten to quit after the 2nd season.

1985 – The Golden Girls Premiered on NBC. The show would run for 7 seasons, 180 episodes and take home two Emmys!

1987 – We were all singing along to “I Think We’re Alone Now” as Tiffany Released Her Debut Album. The album would hit #1 on the Billboard charts and would sell over 7 million copies!
