There are a lot of songs about a lot of different things that transcend genres, but a song about a Guns n Roses t-shirt? This is the subject matter (and title) of Canadian country music group, the Chris Godwin Band’s new single ‘GN’R T-shirt’. According to Godwin, he was accused by his girlfriend of writing the typical country music songs about partying, drinking, love and relationships and she joked he should right a song about her. He found the inspiration in an old Guns N Roses shirt that he had worn holes in over the year and had attempted to throw out, but she kept it for herself.
