Metallica’s Kirk Hammett has confirmed he is working on his very first full length solo album. With plans to feature a whose who of rock royalty on the album, guest musicians and vocalists, the follow up to his 2022 solo ep ‘Portals’ is a work in progress with no release date in mind as of yet. Kirk also discussed with Rolling Stone his new book, ‘The Collection: Kirk Hammett’ which showcases his massive guitar collection that Hammett himself says he has lost count of.
