It was this week in:

1982 – Poltergeist premiered in theaters and terrified an entire generation of 80’s kids. 

1984 – Born in the U.S.A. from Bruce Springsteen was released. The album would hitit #1 on the US Billboard 200

1986 – A Kind of Magic the 12th album from Queen was released. It would reach #46 on the US Billboard 200 Charts and Hit #1 in the UK

1987 – The longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WW(F)E history began as The Honkey Tonk Man beat Ricky “The Dragon Steamboat to Win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Honkey would hold the belt for 454 days.
