This week in 80’s history!

It’s time to take a look back at this week in 80’s history! It was on this week in:

1983 – David Copperfield Made the Statue of Liberty Disappear in Front of a Live Audience. At one point Copperfield was the highest paid entertainer in the world!

1987- Whitesnake’s self titled album, Whitesnake was released. The album would be at #2 on the Billboard Charts thanks to mega hits “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”.

1989 – “The Look” by Roxanne Became the #1 Song in America as well as #1 in Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Australia and New Zealand

1989 – That a team of lovable losers was thrown together in an attempt to be the worst baseball team ever, all so the evil owner could easily sell the team, unfortunately Jake Taylor, Willie Mayes Hayes, Wild Thing Rick Vaughn and the gang had other plans Major League Premiered in theaters.

Mick Mars files lawsuit against Motley Crue.

Mick Mars has filed a lawsuit against his former band, accusing the band of “gaslighting” and kicking him out. Here is the latest:
